Last-minute festival tickets become the best night of your lives. A dinner with a sister becomes the moment a family learns it is about to grow. We forget the payment almost instantly, but we remember everything that came after. We may forget the payment almost instantly, but we remember what came after. Our idea brings these moments to life through a series of scrapbook-style posters. Each one feels like a page from a personal travel album, combining photographs with souvenirs and other traces of the journey. Together, they capture not just where someone travelled, but the story they brought home. Mastercard sits quietly in the background of each story. Trusted and accepted across borders, it is there in the small decisions that set something bigger in motion: buying the ticket, paying for the drink, settling the dinner bill. The transaction lasts only a moment, but what it leads to can stay with us forever. The payment may be contactless, but life is not. The things we keep are physical: a ticket, a receipt, a coaster, a photograph. The scrapbook gives these traces a place to live, turning small objects into reminders of moments long after the transaction itself is forgotten. It doesn't need a page in the scrapbook, because it helped write it. Every destination leaves behind different traces, and every traveller brings home a different memory. Because the payment fades, the story stays.
