For most people in the world the Russian-Ukrainian war began in February 2022. Since then Ukrainians have been commemorating 24 February, a symbolic date that changed their lives forever. In 2026 it will be four years since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine began. But for Ukrainians the first Russian invasion happened earlier – in 2014 with the annexation of Crimea and the Donbas region. To highlight the true duration of the war in Ukraine, we launched a website – timeofwar.in.ua – a chronograph of the war in Ukraine.
