EUR 1,000 that Saved a Bakery from Bankruptcy
Creative idea
'Macaroom' was operating at a loss. Its core product, macarons, was indistinguishable from dozens of competitors. No differentiation. No story. No reach. The founders' brief: 'Either save us, or we go bankrupt.' EUR 1,000. One freelance consultant for strategy, tactics and full execution. No paid media. Pre-Christmas noise. The insight: media doesn't cover products – it covers stories. So the creative core was to change the business focus and create a new hero product. Macaroom stopped operating as another macaron studio and became the home of Lithuania's largest 'Medutis' collection – the nostalgic dessert at the heart of every Lithuanian household, now the brand's own territory.
