RECHARGE YOUR BATTERIES
Creative idea
Gen Z, paralyzed by the climate crisis, recycles batteries at half the rate of Baby Boomers. Instead of guilt-tripping, we connected recycling with personal wellbeing, leveraging the overlap of Wellbeing Day (Sep 8) and Battery Recycling Day (Sep 9). We partnered with Emilio Piano for 'Recharge Your Batteries Concert' at a mall in Warsaw where audiences requested songs by depositing used batteries. Published as Reels and TikToks, it turned a recycling act into a global viral music experience, helping young people feel that the smallest gesture for the planet — dropping off a battery — directly improves their own wellbeing.
