The Bunker Kit
Creative idea
During WWII, Slovakia collaborated with Nazi Germany until the Slovak National Uprising. Today, historical memory is fading. Extremist influencers are radicalising youth before they get proper perspective. Post Bellum, NGO focused on preserving history, struggled to spark interest among youngs and failed to engage with adults. Idea: Bridge the symbolism of wartime hideouts, with children's blanket forts, both called “bunkers” in Slovak. The Bunker Kit is the first set designed for children to come into first contact with the WWII. It lets families build blanket bunkers at home while sharing real stories of resistance fighters, giving parents tool against extremism.
